BeatArt is a blog about the art and activity centered on the beatart collection in Kristiansand, Norway. The socalled Wennesland Collection was donated to the Univeristy of Agder and Kristiansand Katedralskole Gimle in the 1970s and it is the largest collection of California beat art in the world.

Jack Carrigg in his livingroom surrounded by fresh paintings!
Jack Carrigg is represented with several geometrical abstract paintings in the Wennesland Collection. He was one of the very first geometrical abstract painters in California and was linked to the beat milieu back in the late 1950s.
